Abstract:In this paper, a fault tolerance theory for queue based congestion control is proposed in the behavioral system theoretical framework. The router dynamics changes instantaneously when the fault occurs causing the undesirable instability in the queue length. To improve the dynamics of TCP/AQM networks, suitable controllers (stable and optimal) are synthesized using the concept of canonical controller in real time. This makes the network to maintain its stability. The main feature of this fault accommodation tec… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
