A message is a form of conveying information. Various ways are used to secure the information conveyed in the form of messages either in encrypted form or in the form of applying a password in the message. Messages can also be encrypted and embedded in other media such as images (steganography). This research aimed to insert a message into the form of an image by combining the Modified Least Significant Bit (MLSB) method in encrypting messages and reshape modification technique to determine at which position the message encryption will be embedded in the image. Tests were carried out to obtain the quality of the encryption process using the parameters of Fidelity, mean square error, peak signal to noise ratio, testing on file type, robustness, and comparison of message contents. The results of the tests showed that the files that can be used are files with the image file type in the lossless compression category, the rotation can be done at 90, 180, 270 without destroying the message in it, and changing the pixel in the image file will destroy the message inside

Video steganography approach enables hiding chunks of secret information inside video sequences. The features of video sequences including high capacity as well as complex structure make them more preferable for choosing as cover media over other media such as image, text, or audio. Video steganography is a prominent as well as the evolving field in the information security domain and significant number of video steganography methods are proposed in recent years. This article provides a comprehensive review of video steganography methods proposed in the literature. This article initially reviews various raw domain-based video steganography methods. In particular, the raw domain-based methods include spatial domain approaches such as least significant bits (LSB), transform domain-based methods such as discrete wavelet transform, discrete cosine transform, etc. Furthermore, the article looks into various compressed domain steganography methods. A critical comparative analysis is included in the article to analyze and contrast the steganography methods proposed in the literature. A brief description of various evaluation matrices for video steganography methods is provided in this article. Moreover, a brief introduction to steganalysis and video steganalysis is provided. The article concludes with a discussion focused on the limitations and challenges of the video steganography methods. Further, a brief insight into future directions in video steganography systems is provided.

The security of information during transmission in the open network is crucial. While sharing digital data on the internet, it is essential to observe information security goals: confidentiality, integrity, authenticity, and accuracy. This paper presents a multiple tier information security through image steganography technique using a novel puzzle in YCbCr color space, and digitally signed stego image for authentication. Experimental results show that the resemblance between the stego-images and cover images is high. The recognition of the stego image is small, with the use of the Human Visual System (HVS) having an average PSNR value of 47.72db. The probability of detection of the stego-images using Chi-Square Analysis is low, with the average value of 4.39E-05.
