Abstract

Formation of schiff base ligand formulated by 2-hydroxy benzaldehyde and anthranilic acid. They are solid, air and moisture stable. Many biotic activity like antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti tubercular, anticancer, antioxidant, antidepresent, as well as antifungal activity shown in the ligand. Schiff base ligands were correctly distinguish by melting point, solubility, conductance, measurement, water content and infrared spectroscopy. Schiff base are also known to be multitalented class of compound. Some ligang are employed as catalyst pigment and colour intermediate, organic combination polymer stabilizer. Schiff base represented by elemental analysis, IR, UV spectroscopic techniques.
