The existing oil waste water contains oil, solids, water and heavy metals. This oil waste is a contaminant material that can cause negative impacts to the aquatic environment as well as the existing living creatures around it so that it requires a careful and fast handling to clean. The research resulted in the tracking system on the image-based-ship robot by using the method of histogram and fuzzy logic controller that can detect the image of waste water well. The result of the testing of the ship robot done on the pool indicated that it took about ± 196.92 seconds for the robot to detect the image of oil waste objects. The oil waste suctioning process took a maximum of 60 seconds for once.

Health Related Quality of Life (HRQL) is one of the increasing subjects used for assessing health condition among patients who suffer from specific diseases or illness. It has been assumed that multiple variables of HRQL would provide the one's overall health conditions. However, devising the extent of contribution of multiple variables towards overall health conditions is not straight forward as the arbitrary nature of HRQL variables. This paper aims to model the relationship between HRQL variables using an integrated model of fuzzy inference system and linear regression. An experiment was conducted to measure the strength of the relationship between variables and health indices among patients with chronic kidney diseases (CKD). To model this relationship, thirty outpatients with CKD were recruited from a government funded hospital in Peninsular Malaysia. Linguistic data were collected via guided interview and fed into the fuzzy inference system to yield HRQL indices. Multi-linear regressions were then undertaken to establish the relationship between variables and HRQL indices. The model shows that the variable of 'unemployment' was identified as the highest impact factor for patients with CKD. The employment of the integrated model, fuzzy inference system and multi-linear regressions were successfully identified the strength of the relationship between the multiple variables of HRQL and the health status.

This research aims on the development of one efficient and feasible robotic vehicle for spraying inside a greenhouse and evaluation of its navigation system. The proposed system makes its movements by the left and right side motors, and the guidance was provided by ultrasonic sensors. A proportional control mechanism was implemented for continuous and real-time operations of the robotic unit. Such a system uses the 'range information' collected by sensors, so the unit can complete its movement between aisles. A u-shaped path with width and length of 0.98 m and 13.93 m, respectively, was selected for validation experiments. The greenhouse has a concrete floor; the unit was moved in three different speeds (7, 14, 21 m min −1). In general, the feasibility of the proposed robotic unit was approved, since it moved successfully in every required path. The RMSE of robotic unit movements' accuracy was placed between 5.22 and 6.38 at different speeds.
