A Scholastic Appeals Process for Dental Hygiene Student Remediation and Retention

Abstract: A scholastic appeals process tailoring individualized remediation for dental hygiene students not meeting academic standards was assessed retrospectively (1999)(2000)(2001)(2002)(2003)(2004)(2005)(2006)(2007)(2008) to evaluate retention and academic failure rates, nature of academic problems, type of remediation, and success of recommendations.
