A seismic-driven 3D model of rock mechanical facies: An example from the Asmari reservoir, SW Iran

Abstract: Asmari Formation is one of the most prolific and important hydrocarbon reservoirs in Iran. This formation in the Cheshmeh-Khosh oilfield shows mixed carbonate-siliciclastic lithology and its elastic modulus changes are correlatable with facies changes.
