A Serious Complication of Selected Internal Radiation Therapy: Case Report and Literature Review

Abstract: The use of selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) with SIR-Spheres (Sirtex, Sydney, Australia) is increasingly recognized as a potential therapeutic modality of primary and secondary malignant liver tumors.
