A Silver–Organic Frameworks Based on Flexible-Aromatic Dicarboxylate and Bipyridinyl Skeletons Coligand: Crystal Structure and Luminescence Property

Abstract: Reaction between silver salt and conjugational N-hetrocyclic carboxylic acid with the presence of bipyridyl skeletons auxiliary ligand afforded a d 10 metal polymer namely [(ddpp)Ag(bipy) (1)] (ddpp = 2, 5-di(2 0 ,4 0 -dicarboxylphenyl)pyridine, bipy = 4,4 0 -bipyridine). It was characterized by elements analysis, infrared spectroscopy, single crystal X-ray diffraction and thermogravimetry studying. For the polymer 1, silver centers are three coordinated geometry with an ON 2 donor set provided by ddpp and bip… Show more

“…Metallic organic skeletons (MOFs or PCPs) are often referred to as porous coordination polymers. These materials have the advantages of controllable pore size and a strong functional pore structure, so they have attracted much attention in many fields such as gas storage, catalytic reaction, drug conduction, separation, proton flow, magnetic pole, optics, and conduction [5][6][7][8][9][10]. At the same time, because of the crystallinity, adjustable porosity, and special electronic structure of MOFs, they are widely used in the field of fluorescent sensors.…”
