A Simple Analytical Approach for Stress Calculation of Solar Cells

Abstract

A simple analytical solution was proposed for stress evaluation of the solar cells. The present solution was then applied to the stress calculation of the cells in 1580mm×808mm PV module, the variation of the wind pressures and the shear storage modulus of the EVA were taken into account in calculation. The results from the present solution show in good agreement with those by FE.
