“…Gd-AsNDs were prepared by a solvothermal method inspired by a self-delivery system based on an inorganic phosphate-triggered release of anticancer ATO. , Briefly, 0.5 mmol of gadolinium(III) 2,4-pentanedionate hydrate and 0.5 mmol of sodium arsenite were dispersed with a methanol/DMF solution (2:1) cosolvent and 2 mL of water under constant stirring. The mixture was moved into a Teflon-lined autoclave and kept at 180 °C for reaction for 24 h. Subsequently, arsenic (As) was coprecipitated to form Gd-AsNDs when kept aside to cool at room temperature.…”

“…It was then dried in hot air oven and calcined at 700 °C for 4 h in Ar to obtain crystalline Gd 2 O 3 nanoparticles on the rGO sheet. 19 An inert environment was chosen for calcination to avoid the oxidation of rGO. 2.4.…”

“…19−22 It has been reported as one of the potential candidates as the contrast agent for application in magnetic resonance imaging. 19,23,24 Moreover, Gd 2 O 3 serve as the host material and can easily be doped with other rare earth ions (such as Eu 3+ , Ce 3+ , Tb 3+ , Yb 3+ , and Er 3+ ). 19 Lanthanide ion-doped Gd(OH) 3 and Gd 2 O 3 have also been studied for applications in displays and fluorescence imaging.…”
