A simplified superheating Rankine pump with possible application in irrigation
Marius-F. Danca
Abstract:In this paper a simplified superheating Rankine pump is presented. For an easy understanding and study of its functioning principle, the pump has been experimentally implemented, with superheating obtained by an electrical resistance. The pump can be adapted to serve as a reliable and cheap irrigation pump, having reduced maintenance and operating costs, and consuming clean energy (concentrate solar energy).
