A Stable 3D Zn-Coordination Polymer Sensor Based on Dual Luminescent Ligands for Efficient Detection of Multiple Analytes under Acid or Alkaline Environment

Abstract: A novel 3D luminescent coordination polymer (LCP) butane, H 4 odpa = 4, 4′oxidiphthalic acid) was successfully synthesized under solvothermal conditions. LCP 1 displays remarkable fluorescent behavior and stability in a wide range of pH values and different pure organic solvents. More importantly, LCP 1 can become an outstanding candidate in the selective sensing of Fe 3+ , Bi 3+ , Cr 2 O 7 2− , MnO 4 − , nitrobenzene (NB), acetaldehyde (AH), and acetylacetone (Hacac) under a lower detection limit. The change… Show more

“…Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), also known as porous coordination polymers (PCPs), [ 1 ] are attracting increasing attention due to their unique structures and potential applications in the fields that include luminescence, magnetism, [ 2–4 ] storage/separation, [ 5–8 ] catalysis, [ 9–12 ] ion exchange, [ 13–15 ] and drug delivery. [ 16–18 ] As fluorescent probes for detecting cations, [ 1,19–21 ] anions, [ 22–26 ] biomarkers, [ 27–29 ] explosives, [ 30–34 ] and so forth, [ 35–37 ] they have attracted much attention due to their high sensitivity and efficiency. For cations, silver ions (Ag + ) have wide applications in various fields such as biomedicine and antibacterial manufacturing.…”
