Abstract:The study appraises the role of women in Nigeria's National Assembly between 1999 and 2011. The data was generated through primary sources and corroborated with secondary materials. Its approach was historical, narrative, and analytical in nature. The study was pillared on liberal feminism and the global advocacy for women's involvement in Nigerian politics.
