A Strength Prediction Methodology in Regions of Matrix-Dominated Stress Concentrations

Abstract: A point stress criterion based on stress distribution, in conjunction with Hashin's interactive failure criteria for fiber composites, is applied to composite laminates containing throughthickness discontinuities.
