Abstract:The effects of sodium pyrithione (35 ve 70 mg/kg, ip) and saline (%0.09 NaCl 0.5 ml/kg, ip) administered intraperitoneally to rats on hormones after 24 and 96 hours were investigated. Due to sodium pyrithione (35 and 70 mg/kg, ip) administered to rats, the increase in ACTH and corticosterone levels in 24 hours was significant (p < 0.05), while the change was insignificant after 96 hours of administration.
