Abstract:Older adults tend to self-restrict their driving habits by driving less frequently and shorter distance, or avoiding driving in difficult situations, such as night time, bad weather, unfamiliar areas, or heavy traffic/rush hour, thus hindering mobility which is important for their well-being (e.g., Charlton et al., 2006).
