A study of gate-type wave attenuators

Abstract: A new type of gate structures for harbour entrances is proposed in this paper . The principal objective of the proposed structures is provide protection from incident wave fromthe outer harbour in rough condition, thus creating a inner area of calm water for the mooring of small boats.
