A study of the dynamics of volume changes during the period of active motility in carp,Cyprinus carpioL., spermatozoa

Abstract: Carp, Cyprinus carpio L., spermatozoa swelling in NaCl hypotonic solutions (18.8, 37.5, 75, 100 mM) was studied by the methods of photometry and resistance impulses spectroscopy (RIS). The possibility of application of the value of relative optical density of cell suspension, as a qualitative characteristics of the extent of spermatozoa swelling in the period of their movement, was demonstrated.
