This research aims to determine and evaluate factors influencing the choice of university of students at University of Education, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (UEd, VNU). In this study, the author used exploratory factor analysis and linear regression methods with survey data of 316 freshmen who are currently studying at the UEd, VNU. The results indicated four important factors affecting students' decision to choose a university, which are 1) quality factor; 2) brand/employment factor; 3) information-promotion factor; 4) consultation factor. The findings of the research provided reference for UEd, VNU to develop appropriate enrollment plans and strategies and improve its effectiveness in the coming time.
