A Study on Industrial Heritage Renewal Strategy Based on Hybrid Bayesian Network

Abstract: A more scientific, objective, and reasonable renewal orientation is gradually becoming a research hotspot in the field of industrial heritage conservation and renewal. This study selected five samples to carry out field investigation and face-to-face interviews. POI data were collected and analyzed, which revealed the relationship between environmental resources and the five samples based on the kernel density estimation method. Sequentially, we unprecedentedly created a complete BN-POI-AHP hybrid Bayesian net… Show more

“…This understanding of the concept of adaptive reuse in the context of heritage preservation is also promoted in the work of Bottero et al [45], in which the authors point out that "the expected outcome is not only the protection of the building, but the preservation of its historical and heritage significance" [45] (p. 2). The concept of adaptive reuse has become the focus of numerous studies aimed at sustainable solutions for heritage preservation, which include both review papers, as well as case studies of the application of this concept in practice [45][46][47][48][49][50][51]. Through research, various methods for applying this concept in practice, aspects that should be included, and the level of success of the concept to simultaneously comply with all the principles of heritage preservation, realise its sustainable potential and contribute to its integration into the contemporary context are emphasised.…”
