A study on the outdoor propagation channel model for the 5 GHz WLAN service

Abstract

This paper presents 5 GHz WLAN outdoor model and its parameters. The path loss used to determine service coverage is modeled by log loss model, and the power delay profile is inodeled by COST 207 model. The parameters for the model are determined by measurements. The measurements are perfaimed at common WLAN application places in campiis environment. 'These environments present impurlanl data and make a criterion of other environments.
