A Study on the Poetry of Noh Baek-heon and Jeong Jae-gyu Focus on the Mourning Poem

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to examine the aspects of Jeong Jae-gyu’s mourning poem. Jeong Jae-gyu (1843-1911) was a Neo-Confucian scholar and writer who was active in Yeongnam during the late Han and Japanese colonial period. He learned from No-Sa Ki Jeong-jin, and played a leading role in forming No-Sa School in the Yeongnam region. He also inherited the studies of Jo Sik and Jeong Yeo-chang.
