A Study on the Residential Environment Polarization and Characteristics in Seoul

Abstract: We establish trace and extension theorems for evolutionary equations with the Caputo fractional derivatives in (weighted) Lp spaces. To achieve this, we identify weighted Sobolev and Besov spaces with mixed norms that accommodate solution spaces and their initial values well-suited for equations involving time-fractional derivatives. Our analysis encompasses both time-fractional sub-diffusion and super-diffusion equations. We also provide observations on the initial behavior of solutions to time-fractional equ… Show more

“…As scholars have consistently pointed out, some parts of South Korea showed a discriminatorily sharp increase in land price during the past few decades, resulting in residential or economic polarization (Kim et al, 2020). In these localized areas, the high level of inequality and other social indices indicating social deprivations significantly impact public health, including the SMR, in the long run (Moon & Chung, 2019).…”

“…For example, the residents of high housing price areas in Seoul tend to discriminate more against PH residents than in other areas [23,23]. The manifestation of economic gaps is evident in various social gaps such as health and healthcare, culture and living, education and mindset, and physical gaps in residential and urban public spaces [24]. These gaps are linked to psychological health problems owing to the tendency to compare ourselves with others, increasing stress levels, and hindering social communication between groups [25][26][27].…”

“…In the United States, the lowincome population is supported through income tax deductions for housing rent and interest payments on home loans via rental support vouchers [12]. France provides housing allowances to young single-person households residing in rental apartments, university dormitories, and privately operated dormitories [16][17][18].…”

“…However, targeted support specifically for single-person households remains insufficient. Therefore, selecting programs targeting the entire age group that align with the support conditions of individual single-person households is unavoidable [16]. The financial programs supported in South Korea include the following.…”
