A study on transmission characteristics of large‐scale multihop wireless LAN using L2 routing

Abstract: Transmission characteristics of multihop wireless LAN (IEEE 802.11g) are degraded according to the number of hops due to the nature of multiple access control. To decrease the number of hops in a multihop network, a connecting node selection method according to the hop depth is evaluated.
