Abstract:Compacted vermicular (CV) graphitization cast iron is the name given to graphitization cast iron where the shape of the graphite looks like a vermicular. Castability and the thermal conductivity of CV graphitization cast iron is similar to those of Grey iron, while the strength of CV graphitization cast iron is similar to that of ductile iron.
