A Telecooperation Management System for Secure Data Conferencing in Distributed Product Development Processes

Abstract

Abstract:Telecooperation is a technology which fulfills the communication requirements arising from global distributed product development. Implementations of the T.120 standard take the heterogeneous environment into account but do not sophistically solve security and ergonomic problems. The Telecooperation Management System (TCMS), developed by the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology, enhances T.120 implementations for their successful use in distributed product development.
