This article presents a newly circularly polarized (CP) antenna for V2X's dedicated short range communications applications. Its CP characteristic is enabled by a 70 Ω sequential phase feeding network and sequential rotation technique designed on top of the substrate. It has features of ≈90° phase difference in sequence between ports of S21 = 2.4°, S31 = −87°, S41 = −180°, and S51 = −276°, resulting in a 2.19 dB axial ratio centered at 5.9 GHz. The length of the SP feeding network to each ports designed in the different form of meander lines are the key to control the generated phase at the center frequency It also contributes to the smaller final size of 0.59λ × 0.59λ. The proposed antenna operated from 5.850 to 5.925 GHz with a gain between 4 and 6 dBi. The gains are radiated in bidirectional mode due to the presence of the complimentary dipoles located on the opposite side of the substrate. These features indicate the suitability of the proposed antenna in compliance to the ITS‐G5 OBU V2X standard.

By 2020, there will be more than 24 billion smart devices connected in Internet of Things (IOT). Tremendously augmented motorization, population and urbanization has not only brought us many amenities but also has increased traffic congestion to its limits. In this paper we used IOT to design an efficient and congestion free Intelligent Transport System (ITS).A lot of research is done to either improve or change any one aspect of ITS at one time. This paper demonstrates every aspect or features of an efficient ITS. The purpose of this research is to provide developing countries a detailed and easy to follow ITS architecture, so that they can create an ITS for their populace.

Summary Over the past two decades, vehicular collisions have been a significant concern for governments, researchers, and automobile manufacturers. However, collisions are unexpected and occur regularly on roads, resulting in deaths, infrastructure destruction, and health injuries. As a result, it is essential to avoid, prevent, and detect traffic collisions at the highest degree possible for minimizing human loss. In this article, the trend of road traffic accidents in India has been analyzed graphically. Towards the end, a VANET‐based traffic safety management approach (VANET‐TSMA) has been proposed to reduce road accidents in India. This approach uses message distribution, traffic management, and congestion control efficiently for reducing the overall rate of road accidents. This method is based on multiple information and communication technology (ICT)‐based safety mechanisms which include collision avoidance, collision detection, and traffic congestion avoidance for the protection of future connected automobiles on roads.
