Abstract: Objetivo. Identificar fatores sociodemográficos, comportamentais e assistênciais maternos que se relacionam com a transmissão vertical do HIV em Porto Alegre. Método. Estudo caso-controle, com dados secundários da vigilância epidemiológica de gestantes e crianças expostas ao HIV pela gestação e parto, nascidas nos anos de 2010 a 2015.
