A Two-Dimensional Finite Element Channel/Lake Flood Model; Case Study of Edko Drain/Lake, Egypt

Abstract: Floods have very devastating effects on human's lives and civil infrastructures such as houses, buildings, roads, bridges…etc. In order to safe guard against floods its necessary to have a tool to predict their extent and devastating effects. Numerical hydraulic models have the capabilities of being such tools.
