A Two-Way Fluid-Structure Interaction Approach to Investigate Hemodynamics and Mechanical Behavior of Cerebral Aneurysm: A Computational Study

Abstract: In this study, we computationally examine the biomechanics of a cerebral aneurysm (CA) using a two-way Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) approach. The integrated approach using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and computational solid dynamics (CSD) aims to connect the intra-aneurysmal environment and the rupture process and assess the risk of aneurysm rupture.
