“…Pearson's correlation coefficients were calculated for each feature observed during point counting of the cam deformity samples to determine if the spatially-based percentage of each tissue feature was correlated to α angle, age, sex, and BMI. 95% confidence intervals were estimated with bootstrapping (random resampling with replacement) to improve overall statistical power and accuracy of our statistical estimates 23,24 .
