a b s t r a c tNext Generation Networks (NGN) provide Telecommunications operators with the possibility to share their resources and infrastructure, facilitate the interoperability with other networks, and simplify and unify the management, operation and maintenance of service offerings, thus enabling the fast and cost-effective creation of new personal, broadband ubiquitous services. Unfortunately, service creation over NGN is far from the success of service creation in the Web, especially when it comes to Web 2.0. This paper presents a novel approach to service creation and delivery, with a platform that opens to non-technically skilled users the possibility to create, manage and share their own convergent (NGN-based and Web-based) services. To this end, the business approach to user-generated services is analyzed and the technological bases supporting the proposal are explained.

En la actualidad los operadores de telecomunicaciones han incrementado el uso de recursos provenientes de diferentes fuentes, tales como facilidades de la web, contenidos generados por diversos proveedores, aplicaciones y servicios de terceros. Esta convergencia de servicios, aplicaciones y dispositivos ha propiciado en el operador telco la necesidad de contar con entornos para la entrega de servicios y de estrategias que faciliten el rápido despliegue de servicios convergentes [CS]. En este sentido, el presente artículo propone un mecanismo de despliegue de CS en entornos JSLEE, el cual, de manera automática, ejecuta los procesos de activación, configuración, selección e instalación del servicio. Con el fin de evaluar experimentalmente esta aproximación-y presentar sus aportes-, se realizó una prueba de desempeño del algoritmo propuesto.

Abstract-Follow the promising Web 2.0 paradigm, the telecommunications world also wants to implement the Telco 2.0 vision by inviting its users to actively participate in the creating and sharing of services accessible using handheld devices. The EU-IST research project OPUCE (Open Platform for UserCentric Service Creation and Execution) aims at providing end users with an innovative platform which allows an easy creation and delivery of personalized communication and information services. This paper introduces a novel visual semantic service browser built on top of the OPUCE service repository which enables intuitive visualized service exploring and discovery while requires no technical semantic Web knowledge from the user.
