According to the literature, several HPLC-UV methods (Huo, Peng, Gao, Zhou, & Aibai, 2011;Wu, 2014) and LC-MS/MS methods (Jiamboonsri, Pithayanukul, Bavovada, Gao, & Hu, 2015) exist to determine the levels of gallic acid or methyl gallate in rat serum.
