Intelligent scene design schemes have become increasingly important with the development of digital media art and Augmented Reality (AR) technology. At present, the design of this scene is mostly used in urban planning. The development of AR technology makes the constructed scene more realistic and immersive while drawing virtual cities. This paper establishes a virtual city through intelligent scene and AR technology and conducts reasonable urban planning based on the collection of sunshine information. Firstly, the application of blockchain technology is introduced. Secondly, it describes the digital media art intelligent scene and AR technology. Finally, the sunshine information obtained from the intelligent scene is used to optimize the virtual city buildings. The experimental results show that: building groups based on the sunshine information identified by intelligent scene can increase the sunshine time of both residential and commercial building groups and reduce the optimization time, which greatly improves the building planning level of virtual cities. Additionally, the introduction of AR technology makes the virtual city more realistic. Therefore, this study has certain reference significance for planning virtual cities.
