A vision-based talker distinction system for human-robot communication

Abstract: A novel robot, Ifbot, which can communicate with human by joyful conversation and emotional facial expression has been developed by our industryuniversity joint research project. I n this paper, as t h e fundamental technology of Ifbot for t h e robot-human interaction, w e propose a n image processing method for real-time face tracking and talker distinction.
