A wideband beam shaping reflector antenna using model predictive control

Abstract: A novel method based on model predictive control (MPC) is presented for synthesis and optimization of a wide band reflector antenna with cosecant squared and flat‐topped radiation patterns. The proposed system is a doubly curved reflector antenna with nonlinear dynamic equation.
