“…Consequently, various efforts have been made to reduce the size while keeping or improving the basic properties of the divider. There are various techniques using lumped elements : a capacitive loading method , a high–low impedance resonator , an electromagnetic band‐gap (EBG) structure , and defected ground structure (DGS) . Those methods are highly suitable for size reduction, but WPD design in many previous studies have tended to rely on a rule of thumb and cut and try method because accurate design formulae have not been extracted or been too complicated.…”
