A Young Man with a Large Midesophageal Ulcer as a Presenting Manifestation of HIV Infection

Abstract

We present the case of a young man with a giant midesophageal ulcer as the primary manifestation of HIV. We highlight the importance of accurate HIV testing, as his diagnosis was much delayed before his presentation here.
