A Young Man With Acute Kidney Injury and Uveitis: An Unusual Presentation and Case Report

Abstract: Tubulointerstitial nephritis with uveitis (TINU) is an uncommon autoimmune syndrome that involves multiple systems. It usually presents with acute kidney injury (AKI) and unilateral or bilateral uveitis. We present a 15-year-old male, fit and well, who attended emergency room (ER) with a four-month history of epigastric pain associated with nausea, vomiting, and weight loss of 10 kg.
