“…Highway construction is a long-term and large-scale project, which has many effects on the air in the construction process, mainly in the following aspects: first, a large amount of dust will be generated in the process of subgrade excavation and backfilling; second, a large number of raw materials will be used in the construction process, such as lime, fly ash, steel bar, sandstone, cement, asphalt, etc In the process of loading, unloading, transportation and mixing, a lot of dust will be generated, which will cause environmental pollution [3]. At the same time, some chemical reactions will be generated after mixing, which will release harmful gases, thus affecting the air quality and causing environmental pollution.…”

“…The monitoring of air quality in any given environment is very important, especially environment where certain occupational activities like construction activities which promote poor air quality due to the release of microscopic particles into the ambient air. Research has shown that the major cause of occupational related diseases emanate from air pollution in the work environment. What constitutes the major causes of air pollution during construction activity include fumes from vehicles, emission of dust, as well as acoustic pollution from vehicular movements [1]. Investigation of the impact of construction activity on the ambient air quality revealed that during construction activity, the concentration of airborne particles of 10micrometres increased by 15μgm -3 compared to when there was no construction activity [2].…”

“…1 Corresponding author: serdariaziev@gmail.com Particles of road dust are in a turbulent flow and have aerodynamic diameter from a few nanometers to tens of µm ( Fig. 1) [2,3]. The settling process of small weighted particles by gravity in a turbulent flow is composed from two processes: a) continuous subsidence of some parts down, inside carrying them pulsating moles, and b) random in direction, frequency and amplitude of particles movement with descents and rises along with carrying them pulsating moles [4].…”
