“…It is this large relative value of J which compensates the influence of the small overlap integral in (11) and leads to the strong discrepancies between fully relativistic and approximate theories in the calculation of s state ionization TDCS in coplanar asymmetric geometries: the additional constant amplitude accounts for the large difference in absolute magnitude of the TDCS. Furthermore the incorrect representation of the secondary peak in theories using approximate wave functions can be related to the fact that the same term removes the zeros of some of the contributions to the spin sum in (2).…”
