Abstract: Sorafenib, a multikinase inhibitor against Raf kinase and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR), was recently approved for the treatment of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, the majority of HCC are inherently resistant to sorafenib.
