Abstract: Ovarian cancer is the leading cause of gynecologic cancer death with over 21,000 new diagnosis and 13,000 deaths each year in the US. Treatment with platinum-based chemotherapy induces remission in up to 80% of patients yet the majority relapse and die from their disease within 5 years.
