Abstract:The NF-κB signaling pathway has been shown to contribute to epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) through its classical and alternative pathways, characterized by the RelA and RelB transcription factors respectively. Previous studies have highlighted the role of RelA in sustaining the proliferative cancer cell population, while RelB aids in promoting the survival of chemoresistant, stem-like tumor-initiating cells (TICs) that promote disease relapse. In further characterizing the downstream effects of NF-κB signalin… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
