Abstract: Introduction: Atrial fibrillation (AF) is associated with atrial thrombus formation and peripheral embolization, which leads to ischemic stroke or systemic thromboembolism. The CHADS2 score is tool for estimating risk of stroke in nonvalvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF) patients.
