Abstract 532: New Agonist of A2a Receptor Reduces Ventricular and Vascular Dysfunction in Monocrotaline-induced Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension in Rats
Abstract:Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is characterized by enhanced pulmonary vascular resistance with subsequent remodeling and right ventricular hypertrophy. Vascular reactivity and ventricular function were investigated in rats with monocrotaline-induced PAH and treated with a new N-acylhydrazone derivative named as LASSBio-1359.
METHODS:
Protocols were approved by Animal Care and Use Committee at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Male Wistar rats received a single i.… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
