Abstract No. 438 Novel hand ultrasound techniques as predictors of safety for transradial arterial access

Abstract: Conclusions: Partial splenic embolization appears to demonstrate a favorable response in the recovery of thrombocytopenia in patients with metastatic disease. Recovery of platelet counts appears to be within a reasonable timeframe and allows for the safe initiation, or continuation, of systemic chemotherapy in this patient cohort with minimal delay to treatment. Overall complication profile is low.
