Abstract: Abstract-This paper provides a simple mathematical model of different packet scheduling policies in Long Term EvolutionAdvanced (LTE-A) systems, by investigating the performance of Proportional Fair (PF) and the generalized cross-Component Carrier scheduler from a theoretical perspective.
