If the neck is affected more it cause several effects such as headache, nausea, burning sensation at back of neck, severe pricking pain on root of neck and shoulders as ster-nocleidomastoid, trapezius, sub-occipital muscles are involved, reduced neck movement at atlantooccipital joint and atlanto-axial joint (Hafeez and Thenmozhi, 2016).
