Accountable privacy preserving attribute based framework for authenticated encrypted access in clouds

Abstract: In this paper, we propose an accountable privacy preserving attribute-based framework, called Ins-PAbAC, that combines attribute based encryption and attribute based signature techniques for securely sharing outsourced data contents via public cloud servers. The proposed framework presents several advantages. First, it provides an encrypted access control feature, enforced at the data owner's side, while providing the desired expressiveness of access control policies. Second, Ins-PAbAC preserves users' privacy… Show more

“…Thus, all processing of the CV data in the cloud must be continuously audited based on cybersecurity analysis, and appropriate cybersecurity mechanisms should be deployed to ensure accountability requirements are met [12], [51]. Various accountable privacy-preserving attribute-based schemes have been presented in [52]- [54] that can be adopted to fulfill the accountability requirement in cloud-supported CV applications.…”

“…Most of the attribute based signcrytion schemes, such as [17,11,18,19], mainly suffer from high designcryption cost. This is generally due to the intensive mathematical computations and the complexity of access structures associated with ciphertexts or users' private keys.…”
